9pm and not be sure what time it is!

Its been a whirlwind of activity the past couple of months. We're trying to buy a house, so there's been packing to be done, plus we've been up north a LOT and enjoying family and our great friends. It seems as though life just hasn't taken much of a break at all for us. First there was Easter, Mother's Day -- for which I got a gorgeous boquet of pink roses -- bridal showers, Memorial Day weekend. Whew! We managed to even squeeze in the Vermontville Syrup Festival, complete with a flea market and pancake with real maple syrup breakfast. Seems like we spend a good chunk of Memorial Day around bonfires with up-north friends, which was really great. We visited aunts, uncles and cousins, too, while we were there.
Then there's the BIG DAY for my sister and her new husband. It was a gorgeous wedding. Simple, but beautiful. Complete with the outdoor unexpecteds-- a paddleboat dropping by for a visit on the lake, the marriage certificate blowing on a breeze into the lake. Just normal wedding stuff. :) But Aim looked gorgeous and happy.
This past weekend it was spending just a little time with my brother, who flew in from Alaska for the wedding. And meeting his new girlfriend-- love her!!
L had a ton of fun and was SOO good during the whole wedding weekend. She got to see Uncle Kevin (so weird!), Aunt Amy and Uncle Mike, Grandpa and Grandma V. She loves all the attention. Uncle Kevin played chase around the cars-- much more difficult for him to find her, due to height issues, we found! Then playing tickle-fight with Grandpa. She even
conned MY aunts into playing on the playground during the setup for the wedding. She totally cracks me up. As a reward for her awesome behavior, my best friend and I took our girls out for bowling and pizza. L had so much fun. Even bowled a strike or two-- with the bumpers and other helper equipment, of course. :)
Overall, its been very, very busy, but such great times and wonderful memories!
